Alive or Dead (2008)


A suspicious-looking abandoned school bus causes passer-by Maria to stop her car and investigate. Maria first finds a lone girl, and then she finds a stomach-churning display in the back in the back of the bus. Then the killer finds her. Revisiting the scene of the crime, this strange-looking man takes Maria and the girl, who are now helplessly trapped on the bus, on a ride to an utterly bizarre desert location. The girls must quickly figure out whom--including each other--they can trust if they hope to make it out of the desert aliveÂ… or dead. This visceral horror ride is reminiscent of both HOSTEL and SILENT HILL.

Nightmare Man (2006)

A man is running away, escaping from something. He then runs into a locker room, where all of the lockers open to show his reflection. To his horror, the room’s largest mirror begins to crack as he approaches it; he desperately apologizes to his reflection therein for running away in hopes of forgiveness, and begins fervently cleaning the mirrors. A piece of the mirror then falls off. Trying to redeem himself, he picks up the shard with the intention of putting it back on the mirror. However, his reflection slowly slashes his own throat, and the man dies, experiencing the effects of his throat being slashed despite not doing it himself.Meanwhile, sometime later, Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland), a former undercover detective who was suspended after shooting another officer, is forced to take a night time security job at a department store that was gutted by a fire. The department store used to be a psychiatric hospital that experimented in treating schizophrenia. In 1952, a mass killing took place and the hospital was closed. It was later reopened as a luxury department store, the Mayflower. Carson comments on the pristine mirrors throughout the store, and the guard comments that the man Carson is replacing was obsessed with cleaning them.

Futurama: Bender's Game DVDRip

Elsewhere, dark matter prices are on the rise, thanks to Mom’s monopoly on the fuel market. Professor Farnsworth tells of his “early years” with the “young woman”, and how his discovery of an energy crystal—which helped to convert dark matter into fuel, of couse—was stolen when their relationship went sour. In anticipation of this event, he developed an anti-crystal of sorts that would negate the potency of the fuel, so it’s up to the Planet Express crew to put a stop to her monopolizing ways. Somewhere along the way, we end up inside Bender’s imagination, which has subconsciously brought together both parties in a fantasy-fueled adventure.

Cloverfield follows five New Yorkers from the perspective of hand held video camera. The movie is exactly the length of a DV Tape and a sub-plot is established by showing bits and pieces of video previously recorded on the tape that is being recorded over. The movie starts as a monster of unknown origin destroys a building. As they go to investigate, parts of the building and the head of the Statue of Liberty come raining down. The movie follows their adventure trying to escape and save a friend, a love interest of the main character.

INFO: Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) might be dead, but his traps live on in this fifth “Saw” entry, which finds the series' production designer David Hackl at the helm for his debut directing gig. Costas Mandylor reprises his role as Hoffman, the detective whose involvement in the string of grisly murders turns out to be more than meets the eye. Picking up where the fourth entry left off, Hoffman is revealed to be a hidden accomplice in Jigsaw's grisly games of death, which look to be continued by the lawman. The plot bounces back and forth from the beginning of their relationship to the present, as Agent Strahm (Scott Patterson) delves farther into the case


Continuing on with its story despite the death of namesake killer Jigsaw in the third installment, SAW V concerns itself with detailing who will carry on with his bloody work. Director David Hackl, the production designer on the previous three films, retains their familiar charnel house look. Though there are fewer grisly death sequences, faithful viewers will enjoy the creative plot twists. The film opens with a man strapped to a table above a pendulum. As the sharp blade begins swinging over his stomach, he has only a minute to stop it by inserting his hands into a device that will crush them. When the machine malfunctions, it's clear that it wasn't the work of the meticulous Jigsaw. Meanwhile, FBI Agent Strahm (Scott Patterson) continues the investigation he began in the previous film, only to wake up to find himself wearing a glass helmet filled with water. With a minimum of self-mutilation, he escapes and continues his investigation with the hunch that Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) is somehow involved in the new rash of killings. Before long, a new group of strangers wakes up in Jigsaw's lair to face a series of brutal tests, and Jigsaw's ex-wife, Jill, is given a mysterious box at the execution of his will. An enormously popular and critic-proof series, SAW gives its fans what they want--creatively executed blood and guts. The fifth installment in as many years, SAW V is more subdued in that department, but the sequences it does contain deliver the goods. Several lengthy flashbacks also allow Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) to make a few appearances. While SAW V isn't the place for beginners to start, those who have stuck with the story this far will find it a fitting entry, happy that SAW VI is just around the bend. – Rotten Tomatoes.

But the Von Geisler’s aren’t just eccentric, they are devoted Neo-Nazis with a twisted fantasy of starting a new master race - and they have chosen Yasmina as their Aryan Eve.
